Running for _______________
If you’re running for a position in school or a club, it shouldn’t be based on popularity. People should vote for your skill and dedication not just because you are well known. The decision should be based on what you are not who you are. Being popular may give you an advantage if people see you as a person who fits the description of the position you are applying for. People who try to be popular just to earn the votes but do not have the skill shouldn’t be elected. You should be elected for your skill, dedication, devotion, experience and knowledge. I personally don’t want to have someone who doesn’t have much dedication to be chosen. People can change and show their dedication and skill while on the job, but if they just choose to run for a position because it looks good on their college transcript and don’t try, I wouldn’t like them to be elected.
That’s just my opinion.
I think I know who you’re talking about.. lol
